Today Troy and I celebrate 30 years of marriage! You would think a post like this would be easy to write but it’s not. It’s not easy because it’s hard to put into words how blessed and thankful I am to be loved by a person so completely, so unconditionally, so consistently and just… so much.
Instead of using a lot of words in this post, I think I’ll share some our favorite photos of doing life together. I’m away from home today so I can’t include very many photos from years ago.
We have been blessed to be able to travel a bit and have some wonderful experiences together. But our best experience has been raising our family.
It’s a wonderful life!
He’s still walking beside me.
Hiking the trails in the Guadalupe Mountains. One of our West Texas road trips.
Little French Key in Roatan, Honduras.
Archery is one of our favorite things to do together.
We’ve run many 5Ks together. Well… not together. He smokes me.

On a yacht in Seattle.

Hiked up to Goose Lake near Red River, NM.

4-wheeling on the Canadian River at Taloga, OK.
Whaling watching at Juneau, Alaska.
Broadway Musical in New York City. We were as tired as we look. I dozed off during Mary Poppins. But it was good.
A river cruise in front of the Statue of Liberty.
We love the NYC skyline.
A Mets game in Queens, NY.
We were made for each other.
Troy has taught me a great deal about hunting. He’s the best.
Hiking the Badlands in South Dakota.
I’ve wanted to see Mount Rushmore since I was a kid.

Into the woods we go…
On the beach in Progreso, Mexico.

A drive through the Davis Mountains in West Texas.
Motorcycle ride on River Road behind the house.
Boating on Lake Allen Henry in Texas.
A kiss in front of the Brooklyn Bridge.
A stroll through Central Park in New York.
Scuba Diving in Cozumel, Mexico. I LOVED this!
God truly blessed me when He gave me Troy.
He’s loves God.
He’s a real Christian.
He’s been supportive of my hopes and dreams and has done whatever it took to see them come true.
He’s the most patient man I know and he’s practiced them a lot on me.
He never asks for anything.
He rarely complains about anything.
And he eats leftovers.
What’s not to love about a man like that?
I’m blessed. Thank you, Troy, my Prince Charming, for 30 wonderful years of marriage!
I love you!
